- Long story short: This program indirectly discriminates against autistics, by refusing to waive the requirement that all applicants have five years of work history. Australian autistics are unemployed at a rate of 31.6%. It's not fair recruiters for to demand that we have resumes comparable to our neurotypical peers. Hudson ignored my reasonable adjustment that they consider my degrees, reference letters and coding hobby instead of my resume. They only contacted me to say that I’d been rejected due to my employment gaps. I should've just lied on my resume. Hate autistic people? Get a job in recruitment, no one will notice.
